Has anyone named their kid after technology?

A couple, Ella Karina and Andi Cahya Saputra, in Indonesia, had their pregnancy coming up to the due date.

They couldn’t decide on a name, and then, after the baby was born, they decided to just name the baby “Google.”

Their idea was that naming the baby Google would bestow some type of prosperous future on the child.

They’ve caught a lot of crap from people about the name.

Although, apparently, it had brought some level of good fortune:

As they have received lots of presents related to Google.

It will be interesting to see when a job application is sent to Google by an applicant named Google. I’d wager he at least gets a call.
